Join the Green Mountain Audubon Society and the North Branch Nature Center in welcoming lifelong naturalist Larry Clarfeld in his presentation about nocturnal bird migrations on Tuesday May 4th at 7:30PM. Migration is one of the greatest spectacles of the natural world, and yet much of the migration of North America’s birds takes place under a cloak of darkness. This talk will illuminate nocturnal migration, delving into the historical context of the “night flight”, current techniques for studying this phenomenon, and how these technologies are being used to promote conservation.
