This special excursion (limited to 10 participants) will provide the opportunity to gain a unique perspective on a very productive ecosystem that is part of the Rock River Wildlife Management Area. Venturing from the boat launch near the Missisquoi Bay in Swanton, we will paddle upstream on the slow-moving Rock River, beneath the branches of the floodplain forest, where the trees are alive with with birdsong. Participants will need to provide their own kayak, paddle and lifejacket. There are no restroom facilities at this location.
