BIRDING EXCURSION AT ALBURGH DUNES & MUD CREEK - CANCELLED

Due to the high lake level, portions of the main trail are flooded and accessible only by traversing the dunes. To ensure the stability of this fragile ecosystem, we regret that we feel it necessary to cancel this excursion.

As spring migrants continue to return, members of the Green Mountain Audubon Society will head to two locations in Alburgh in Grand Isle County. This trip will provide the opportunity to observe waterfowl, passerine species, a number of wetland species, and more. Participants will meet at Alburgh Dunes State Park and travel later for more birding to the Mud Creek Wildlife Management Area.
