Green Mountain Audubon Society Donations

There are many ways to support the Green Mountain Audubon Society (GMAS) and ensure that your local Audubon chapter is able to continue to provide quality programs and events to our community. Your contributions will also allow the GMAS to continue efforts toward bird conservation and enhance environmental education opportunities in local schools, summer camps, and after-school programs.

To make a donation to the GMAS directly, please click the “donate” button below to be directed to a secure PayPal donation portal. If you would like to join our emailing list to receive invitations to local programs and field trips hosted or co-sponsored by the GMAS, simply add your email address when prompted in the donation portal. (Note: Donations are NOT required to join the GMAS email list! If you would like to be added to our list without a donation, simply send an email to gmas@greenmountainaudubon.org expressing your interest)

If you are interested in joining the National Audubon Society, click the button below. A donation of $20 or more to the National Audubon Society will qualify you to receive a year subscription to the award-winning Audubon magazine. If you live in Chittenden, Grand Isle, or Franklin County, VT, and donate to the National Audubon Society, you will be automatically assigned to the Green Mountain Audubon Society as your home chapter, and a portion of your donation will aid in GMAS operations. If you are a new member and do not live in the previously listed counties, but would still like to designate the GMAS as your preferred chapter, use the “Chapter Donation Designation” drop-down menu on the National Audubon Society membership page and select “VT| Green Mountain Audubon Society (X00)”. Whether you live in northwestern VT or designate the GMAS as your preferred chapter, a portion of your donation to the National Audubon Society will go to the GMAS and you will be added to our email list.

Thank you for supporting bird conservation and educational efforts in northwestern Vermont and beyond!
