The Mud Creek WMA is an excellent, though underappreciated birding spot in Grand Isle County. At this time of year Rusty Blackbird spring migration is at its peak and Mud Creek is one of the best locations in Vermont to find them. Waterfowl, including flocks of Snow Geese, frequently stop at Mud Creek on their way to their Arctic breeding grounds. Join us for this early spring bird walk to learn more about Mud Creek WMA and its avian treasures.
